Old Man Jiu Jitsu Club started off during the early covid days when all the gyms were shut down. We took over my two car garage and never looked back. Now it’s grown into a community of like-minded people who love to train and teach.
The OMJJC logo has some punk rock roots. It is inspired by the logo of my defunct record label, One Shot Records. It felt like a good combination, punk rock + jiu jitsu.
We never intended to sell our merch but the demand for swag kept growing. Originally we gave away shirts and hoodies when people dropped by to train in the garage but we couldn’t keep up. This feels like the right time to make it accessible to anyone who wants to represent.
Jiu Jitsu is hard, its even harder when you are old!
